ROTARY PIIRKOND 1420 FONDI ÜLEVAADE

Meie rotarypiirkonna fondi eesmärk on jagada stipendiume ja toetusi tegevustele, mis edendavad Rotary eesmärke. Stipendiumid ja toetused antakse eelkõige piirkonna klubide projektidele.  Fondist võib teha ka annetusi Rotary Fondile (The Rotary Foundation).

Fondist võivad stipendiume taotleda piirkonna rotaryklubid Rotary eesmärke ja põhimõtteid toetavateks tegevusteks, nagu haridus, reisistipendiumid ning erinevate projektide elluviimine, mis ei saa peamiselt toetust Rotary Fondilt või mille puhul toetatakse rotaryklubide taotlusi Rotary Fondi lisarahadega.

Lõpliku otsuse stipendiumide ja toetuste jagamise kohta teeb piirkonnanõukogu, kes otsustab ka toetuste suuruse, taotlusaja ja taotlemise korra. Piirkonnanõukogu on kohustatud küsima vastava piirkonnakomitee arvamust. Stipendiumi saaja peab määratud aja jooksul esitama aruande stipendiumi kasutamise kohta. Piirkonnanõukogu võib kasutada fondi vahendeid Rotary eesmärkidega kooskõlas oleva piirkonnaprojekti edendamiseks. Nõukogu võib samuti otsustada anda fondist piirkonna toetust Rotary Fondile.

Stipendiumide ja toetuste taotlemisel võib ühendust võtta piirkonnakuberneriga.

ROTARY DISTRICT 1420 FUND

The purpose of our district’s fund is to provide grants and financial support for activities that advance the goals of Rotary. Grants and support are primarily awarded to projects conducted by the district’s clubs. The fund may also provide donations to The Rotary Foundation.

Grants from the fund may be applied for by the district’s Rotary clubs for purposes that promote the objectives and aims of Rotary, such as education, travel grants, and the implementation of various projects that do not primarily receive funding from The Rotary Foundation, or to supplement funds applied for from The Rotary Foundation for club projects.

The final decision regarding the distribution of grants is made by the district council, which also decides on the amount of grants and support, the application period, and the application process. The district council is required to obtain a statement from the relevant district committee regarding the matter. Grant recipients are required to provide a report on the use of the grant within the timeframe determined by the district council. The district council may use the fund’s resources to promote a district project aligning with Rotary’s goals. The district council may also decide to provide district support from the fund to The Rotary Foundation.
