Head rotariaanid,

Peagi tähistab Soome Rotary oma 100. aastapäeva ja vaid mõne aasta pärast ootab sama tähtpäev ka Eestit. Meie piirkonna klubidel on suurepäraseid projekte – me muudame maailma, oma kogukonda ja ka iseennast paremaks. Põhjamaiselt tagasihoidlikult ei kipu me sellest küll palju rääkima, kuid tegelikult on põhjust uhkust tunda.

Olles teeninud teid kubernerina, nägin ma oma silmaga, millist suurepärast tööd klubides tehakse. Palun – räägime sellest! Tutvustage oma projekte, jagage lugusid oma klubide vahvatest liikmetest.

Minu kuberneriaasta teema oli The Magic of Rotary. Üheks imeliseks saavutuseks oli Piirkonna Uudised käivitamine. Selle lehe lugejaskond on suur – statistika näitab, et rotariaanid hoolivad väga sellest, mis meie piirkonnas toimub. Oleme ju kõik oma klubide üle uhked – räägime siis sellest ka teistele!

Dear Rotarians,

Soon, Rotary in Finland will celebrate its 100th anniversary – and just a few years later, the same milestone awaits Estonia. Our clubs have wonderful projects: we are changing the world, our communities, and also ourselves for the better. In our Nordic modesty, we may not talk about this much – but in fact, we have every reason to be proud.

During my year as governor, I have seen firsthand the amazing work our clubs are doing. Please, let’s talk about it! Share the stories of your projects and of your wonderful club members.

This year’s theme was The Magic of Rotary. One of the magical achievements has been the launch of the District News. It already has many readers, which shows that Rotarians truly care about what is happening in our district. We are proud of our clubs, so let’s share that pride with others!
