Tallinna Rotary Klubi liikmed käisid eelmisel nädalal Saksamaal pulmas. Selle väljaütlemisega ei viida lugejaid seltsielu radadele, vaid jäädakse meie ühise rotary-maailma raamesse.

Viktor Hütt esitab meile näidet, millise arengu võivad saada head rotary-projektid:

“Jutt on noorsoovahetusest, kus meil kõigil on võrdsed võimalused. Üks aastane noorsoovahetus võib sisaldada suure hulga positiivseid järgnevusi, rääkimata sellest, et noore inimese enda jaoks võib olla tegemist pöördelise punktiga senises elus.

Augustis 2008 saabus Tallinna Rotary Klubissse vahetusõpilane Saksamaalt – Charlotte. Mõne aja pärast saime tuttavaks tema vanaema ja emaga, kes tütrele külla saabusid.

Ema Sabine kaudu algas siiani aktiivselt kestev sõprus RC Schmallenberg-Winterberg-Lennetaliga. Te olete selle klubi esindajaid korduvalt näinud Kadrioru aastavahetuse üritustel ja ka selle aasta D1420 konverentsil Tallinnas. Koostöös teostatud projektid, kümned visiidid mõlemas suunas klubi ja sõpruskondade vahel kulmineerusid pulmakutsega Charlotte ja Christophi pulma.

Pulma saabus ka Charlotte Eesti-ajast sõbratar Tartu Toome RK vahetusõpilane Mariandrea Enriques Estrada Mehhikost. Saatsime Tartu Toome klubile edasi Mariandrea videotervituse klubile ja oma kahele rotary-isale – Oliver Helmile ja Toomas Kappile.

Pildilt leiad Charlotte oma rotary-isa Andres Sauteriga, keda ta hindab kõrgelt ja on peaaegu igal aastal kohtunud.

Mõlema vahetusõpilase, nüüd juba noore daami, südameis on Eestil jäädav koht. Mehhiklanna saabub teel koju järgmisel nädalal Eestisse.

Rotary youth exchange in his beauty

Rotary Club of Tallinn members went to a wedding in Germany last week. With this statement, the readers are not taken to the paths of social life but remain within the framework of our everyday rotary world

Viktor Hütt gives us an example of how good rotary projects can develop:

“We are referring to a youth exchange with equal opportunities. A one-year youth exchange can contain many positive consequences, not to mention that it can be a turning point in a young person’s life.

In August 2008, an exchange student from Germany – Charlotte – arrived at the Rotary Club of Tallinn. After some time, we got to know her grandmother and mother, who came to visit their daughter.

Through mother Sabine, a friendship with RC Schmallenberg-Winterberg-Lennetal that continues to this day began. You have seen representatives of this club many times at Kadrioru New Year’s events and this year’s D1420 conference in Tallinn. Projects carried out in cooperation, dozens of visits in both directions between the club and groups of friends culminated in a wedding invitation to Charlotte and Christoph’s wedding

Charlotte’s friend from Estonia, Mariandrea Enriques Estrada from Mexico, an exchange student at Tartu Toome RK, also attended the wedding. We forwarded Mariandrea’s video greeting to the Tartu Toome club, to the club and our two rotary fathers – Oliver Helm and Toomas Kapp.

In the picture, you can find Charlotte with her rotary father, Andres Sauter, whom she values highly and has met almost yearly.

Both exchange students, now young ladies, have a permanent place in Estonia. The Mexican woman will arrive in Estonia next week on her way home.
